NO. Tobey’s Candles uses only the best wicks on the market today. These wicks perform extremely well in container type candles like Tobey’s Candles. There is absolutely no health risk in using our wicks.

CAN I BURN TOBEY'S CANDLE JARS COMPLETELY EMPTY?

When you burn the candle properly and maintained correctly, your Tobey’s Candle will be completely consumed providing you with the most realistic aromatic scent possible. The burn will be a no waste burn.

As with all glass containers, there is a risk of breakage due to the heat. Tobey’s Candles has taken that into consideration when pouring all of our candles. Regardless of the size of

Tobey’s Candles you purchase there is an additional one to two ounces poured into each container. This is above and beyond the actual ounces specified for that container.

If you chose to burn the extra ounce(s) and burn the candle to the glass bottom, you do so at your own risk. Serious injury or property damage may occur.

SHOULD I LIGHT ALL OF THE WICKS AT THE SAME TIME? WILL MY CANDLE BE USED UP QUICKER IF I DO?

Tobey’s Candles uses multiple wicks when it is necessary to ensure there is an even burn to your candle every time. It is important that you light all of the wicks each time you burn your candle. The larger the wax bed the more wicks are necessary to create the liquid pool in your container. This will NOT cause your candle to burn faster; only more even. Tobey’s Candles approximated burn times are based on all of the wicks being lit at the same time.
